"1912" by Lindis River Pinot Noir

We introduced our "1912" by Lindis River Pinot Noir for the 2008 vintage. As its bigger brother, this wine is made exclusively from our own vineyard fruit. However, we select the more fruitful and earlier maturing wine for the "1912". Typically, it shows brighter fruit characters and will be released within 6 months of bottling. It is best drinking up to 4 years from vintage.

Vintage 2013  - Alc/vol. 13.5% - pH 3.64 - RS < 1g/l - 250 doz made

Winemaker (Dean Shaw) notes

"The "1912" Pinot Noir is a medium bodied wine with complex redcurrant, black cherry and spice aromatics. The wine has a dark svelte brooding flow, shown generous mouthfeel and persistence."

The Wine Advocate (Robert Parker) review, issue # 216, 30/12/2014

"Pale ruby-purple, the 2013 "1912" Pinot Noir is intensely scented of warm raspberries, crushed red cherries and wild strawberries with suggestions of violets, baking bread, yeast extract and crushed stones. Very vibrant and juicy in the mouth, it gives just enough silky tannins and lively acid to carry the fruit to a long finish."
