This is a very good example of what was, for some, a challenging vintage. It is an elegant, taut Pinot Noir with that desirable quality - subtle power. Red cherry, wild herb and subtle spice flavours offer a flavour profile that I sometimes find in good young burgundy. I like the moderately tannic structure which offers hope for future development ![]()

Lindis River Vineyard is situated in the Ardgour Valley, 10 km South of Tarras, 5 km North of Bendigo and, at a short distance from the Lindis River confluence with the Clutha river, at Maori Point.
Lindis River vineyard was the first to be established in the Ardgour Valley, in 2000. The land was once part of the Ardgour Sheep Station and was grazed for generations. As a remnant of those old days, a hundred year old wool shed still stands on valley floor part of the property. It was converted into a modern house in 2002, when it became our residence.
